Every child gets an equal part, with great roles, and in musicals a solo song.
Our one-week shows provide the best of both worlds:
a fun, full theater production on the big, beautiful Playhouse stage,
AND a nurturing, friendly atmosphere, that allows
every student to really shine!

One week musical, July 11-15

A full musical adventure of the classic story, with equal parts for all. When magic transforms an ordinary peach, James discovers an escape from his nasty aunts. Soon he is on a wild adventure flying inside a giant peach with cool new friends - a kid-size Grasshopper, Ladybug, Butterfly, even a cute friendly Spider! But can they fly across the ocean to a new world? Discover kindness can be found in the most unlikely of creatures. Super fun, and everyone gets a solo songs and a great role. Peachy!

Ages 6-13

One week musical, July 18-22

A musical-comedy treat! When their ice cream shop starts to go broke, a group of kids comes to the rescue. While enjoying all the ice cream they can eat, they invent the most delicious flavor ever, and it seems they’ve saved the day! But before they can get rich, the competition sneaks in and tries to make off with the secret recipe. Can they get it back and save the shop? Great songs plus lots of fun roles for everyone in this delectable musical!

One week non-musical comedy, July 25-29

Gentle humor about school life! Detest homework? Despise the school lunch? We lampoon the best and funniest of school days - and look cool doing it. Join us for an episode of Survivor…in the cafeteria. Then meet The Adolescent Detective. Grab a bite at the fancy Chez Lunchroom. Hang out with the trendy Flower Rangers. Then try to sneak a snack at the vending machine. We even create a test - that parents have to take! School is a blast, when it’s funny!

One week musical, August 1-5

When some kids help out at the local museum, they discover a magical lava lamp. Suddenly they get whisked back in time to the 60’s. There they meet some cool teens who are trying to raise money to save the local park. Pooling their energies, they join them in a far-out talent show and invent the first ever “Green” event. Full of great pop songs, even some from the 60’s, plus lots of chic fashion. You’ll really dig this hip and hilarious gig. Rock On and Peace Out!

One week non-musical comedy, August 8-12

Lighthearted, innocent fun! The inner life of a kid, revealed! Join us as we solve the mysteries of how to always get the front seat in the car, how to stay home “sick” from school, and how to get away with reading comics in class without being caught. Plus, find out the secrets behind begging successfully to adopt a dog, and bugging your sister without getting blamed. A hilarious play about the secrets that all kids know. If the grown-ups could only guess!

One week musical, August 15-19

An irresistible and humorous look at friends and family. When two siblings move to a new town, they have different ideas about how to fit in. One decides on a zany plan to become the most popular kid in school. Every day at recess, the plan, and the comedy, grows. Meanwhile, the other sib thinks they should just be themselves. Will the kids learn the value of being genuine? A witty and heartwarming look at friendship, with great solo songs!
